Nerdy Boy Web Log: Earth Date: March 18, 2006
Dear Readers.
In my comic book/Star Wars memorobilia/Star Trek memorobilia/igauna heat lamp store, a man came to visit me regarding a very rare Alf pog. The pog showed Alf eating a cat on top of the Empire State Building. He offered me $20,000 for the pog. I thought to myself, $20,000 is a lot of money, but maybe I could get him to up his offer. I told him I thought it was worth more, and he said how much more. I thouhgt to myself, and finally came up with the large figure of $85,000. He then opened up a metal breifcase filled with tons of money. "Look," he said. "There's $20,000 in here and that, I think, is a fair sum of money."
I finally agreed to the twenty thousand, knowing he wasn't much of a bargainer. I quickly closed down my shop, and went to deposit the money in the bank. I started making plans to buy a hot tub, and donate the rest of the money to the Star Trek Foundation. A litle while later, I got a call from the bank. They said they'd examined the money I'd deposited and proposed it was counterfeit.
"Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" I screamed into the phone.
They tracked down the guy, and it turns out he'd been buying Alf pogs with counterfeit money all across the country, and the FBI had been looking for him since Alf pogs were actually popular. The FBI returned my precious Alf pog to me a little while later, I was so glad to get it back that I slept with at as though it were a teddy bear for the next few nights. Every night I would tuck in that sweet Alf pog, give it a gentle kiss on the forhead, and then rest my littly dreamy eyes with it cradled in my arms. And that is my corageous story. Thanks for reading.
Love,
Nerdy Boy (Elliot Watershnopps)
